Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver our gifts Australia wide, via Australia Post.

When will my order be sent?

All orders placed before 2pm AEST Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) will be dispatched on the same day. If your order is placed after 2pm, it will be dispatched the next business day.

For urgent orders, please select 'Express Delivery' or 'Same Day Delivery' at checkout. Please note Same Day Delivery is only available for Melbourne metro areas (within 50km of CBD) and must be ordered by 12.30pm.

How much is shipping?

We offer free standard shipping for orders over $140, and if your order is under $140 standard shipping is $12.95.

We also offer Express shipping (next business day delivery for most areas, Australia wide) for $19.95.

Please note that Respectfully Melbourne does not profit from these Australia Post charges. These fees are based on volume and are relatively higher for new small businesses.

If your order is being sent within metropolitan Melbourne (within 50km radius of Melbourne CBD) your order can be delivered the same day via GoPeople if ordered before 12.30pm (excluding weekends and public holidays). Same day delivery charges are calculated based on the distance from our office in Glen Iris to the delivery address. The charges can be viewed at checkout once your shipping information has been entered.

When will my gift arrive?

The timeframes for our 3 delivery options are as follows:

Standard Delivery:

Victoria: 2-4 business days, Interstate: 3-6 business days

Express Delivery:

Next business day delivery Australia wide, via Australia Post. Delivery to regional areas may vary.

Same Day Delivery (via Go People):

Your order must be placed by 12.30pm (Monday to Friday) to be delivered the same business day to Metropolitan Melbourne areas (suburbs within 50km of Melbourne CBD). Please note Same Day Delivery is not available on weekends or public holidays unless requested in advance at hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You will be able to follow the progress of your order. Please contact us if not received at hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au. Make sure to check your junk mail and allow up to 12 hours as it takes time between packing and first scan when onboard for delivery.

Can I arrange delivery on a specific date?

We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date, using the Standard and Express delivery options. Please refer to our Delivery page to work out the best date to send your gift. Please email hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au if you need assistance with the best dispatch date to get your gift to arrive on your preferred date.

Alternatively, you can note your preferred delivery date and any other delivery instructions on the cart page. If you select the Express Post Delivery option, we can hold your order and send it on the best date to arrive on your preferred delivery date. Please note this will incur the $19.95 Express Post charge.

We can guarantee delivery on a specific date using the Same Day Delivery option, if shipping to Melbourne metropolitan areas (within 50km of CBD) between Monday and Friday. Please ensure your order is placed before 12.30pm on the required delivery day. Same Day Delivery is not available on weekends or public holidays unless requested in advance at hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Yes. We use Australia Post for all shipping, so can deliver to Post Office boxes and Parcel Lockers.

Do you deliver internationally?

Sorry, due to the fragile nature of our gifts we do not deliver our gifts outside of Australia.

I want to ship multiple gifts to different addresses, can I create one order/tax invoice?

We can easily assist, please email us the gift sets you have selected and corresponding delivery addresses to hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au and we will create one purchase order/tax invoice.

Alternatively, fill out our Corporate Enquiry Form if arranging multiple gifts for clients, team members, conferences or events. We'll get back to you within the next business day with some options that align with your occasion, budget and specifications. Please note we can also customise multiple gift set orders with your brand or other event messaging. Minimum quantities and additional costs apply.

Why is my order taking longer than expected to arrive?

Once your order has been dispatched from our office it is in the hands of Australia Post or GoPeople couriers. It is their responsibility to deliver within the timeframe they have given us. Respectfully Melbourne cannot accept any responsibility for any delayed or missing packages. Please liaise directly with the couriers with any concerns, using the tracking number we provided via email when the order was dispatched.

Will my gift be delivered if the recipient is not home/at the delivery address?

For gift boxes without alcoholic drinks, a signature is not required for delivery and we add authority to leave (ATL). Our trusted couriers will look for a safe place to leave the parcel if no one is at the delivery address to accept it. If there is not a safe place, the courier will take the parcel to the local post office.

Authority is not permitted by law for gift sets that include alcoholic drinks. The recipient on the delivery information may need to show proof of age if the courier expects they are under 18 years of age. If they are not there to accept the parcel, nor is someone over the age of 18 available to accept it on their behalf, the parcel will go to the local post office for collection with proof of age.

I've made an error with the delivery address, can you help?

If you've made a mistake entering delivery information, contact us immediately at hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au and we will try to assist. If your gift has not been dispatched, we can amend the address details. If your order has been dispatched it is no longer our responsibility, but we will do our best to have your order redirected. If we are successful, we can re-pack your gift with your updated delivery details, and you'll incur a new postal charge. Please note we do not take responsibility for incorrect or incomplete addresses, and do not offer refunds or replacements for parcels that go missing.

Can I cancel my order?

Please email us immediately for an order cancellation at hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au. We can cancel your order at any time before dispatch. However, we cannot accept order cancellations, changes or refunds once your order has been dispatched or delivered.

Product

Are there any receipts or pricing information included in the gift box?

No. Our gift sets are thoughtfully hand packed and shipped without any price tags, receipts or packing slips. We are a gift service and most orders are sent directly to the gift recipient. You'll receive a tax invoice via your email address when you place your order.

How does my gift arrive?

Our gift sets arrive beautifully presented in our custom gift box, carefully hand wrapped in tissue with our exclusive print. We also include a complimentary gift card, with the option to leave a handwritten message.

We ship our gift boxes in biodegradable eco-mailers from our local friends at Heaps Good Packaging.

All our packaging and shipping materials are made from sustainable materials and 100% recyclable or compostable.

Can I add a gift message for the recipient to my order?

There is an option to include a handwritten message on our complimentary Respectfully Melbourne gift cards, that are 100% recycled and recyclable.

For our Curated Gifts, you can add your message on the product page before cart. For the Create Your Own Gift option, you can add your gift message at the final Step 4 of the gift building process.

Can I change a product within the Curated gift sets?

Our Curated gift boxes cannot be changed. However ,we do offer a 'Create Your Own Gift' option where you can get creative and build your own gift with products that perfectly suit your lucky recipient.

Can I create a custom gift set?

In addition to our Curated Gifts, we have the option for you to Create Your Own Gift. After all you know your recipient best! You can follow our 4 easy steps to build your own gift, selecting from our wide range of locally and consciously made premium gift products. To elevate the gifting experience, make sure you add their favourite drink (whether tea, hot chocolate...or something for after hours!) and some chocolate or other gourmet snacks that can be enjoyed straight away!

Can I organise an order of multiple gift boxes for my friends/guests/clients/team members?

Yes, we'd love to hear from you and specialise in customised gifts. Please email us on hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au with some details on the occasion, approximate number of gifts and budget and any product requests or specifications.

Alternatively, please fill out our Corporate Enquiry Form for corporate or custom gift enquiries. We'll get back to you with some locally made, socially and environmentally responsible options within the next business day.

Payments

What forms of payment do you accept?

Respectfully Melbourne accepts all major credit cards, Paypal and Google Pay.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged at the time of purchase.

My credit card was declined, what can I do?

We recommend calling your bank to rectify any issues.

Other

What is your returns policy?

All our sales are final. We do not accept returns unless an item is faulty or damaged. If an item is faulty or damaged, please email us as soon as possible at hello@respectfullymelbourne.com.au.

Do I need to be over the age of 18 years to purchase your gifts?

Yes, if the gift set includes alcoholic drinks. Respectfully Melbourne supports the responsible service of alcohol.

WARNING under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $17,000) and for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $700). Liquor Licence No. 36172114.

If you are under the age of 18 years you are welcome to purchase from our wide range of gift sets that do not include alcoholic drinks.
